DOES FINCHAIN EVER MAKE CHANGES TO ITS PRIVACY POLICY?

We may make changes to the Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by sending you an email, posting a notice on the home page of the Website, or posting a notice in your account when you first login after we have made changes. If you receive notification or a change in our Privacy Policy, you must review the new Privacy Policy carefully to make sure you understand our practices and procedures. WHAT TYPES OF INFORMATION DOES FINCHAIN COLLECT FROM ME?

Installation and Use: When you install and use the FINCHAIN app, FINCHAIN will collect, process and retain personal information from you and any devices you may use in your interaction with our services. This information may include the following: geo-location, your IP address, device ID or unique identifier, device manufacturer and type, device and hardware settings, connection information, screen resolution, usage statistics, device log and event information, incoming and outgoing calls and messages, times and date of calls, duration of calls, version of the FINCHAIN app you use and other information based on your interaction with our services.

User Profile: Where the user registers a user profile in the FINCHAIN app/FINCHAIN website and via SMS or inbound call verification confirms being the holder of a certain number, the information up-loaded to the profile section of the FINCHAIN apps/website will be received and stored by FINCHAIN until the user changes or deletes such data or terminates the services. Compulsory information when creating a profile page is the user’s first name, last name, date of birth, and phone number. By filling in the User Profile form with their Data, the User authorizes the FINCHAIN app/FINCHAIN website to capture these details. FINCHAIN will limit usage of this information to improving the user’s engagement with FINCHAIN and FINCHAIN services.

User Account: When the user needs to complete and furnish his/her account in the FINCHAIN app/FINCHAIN website, FINCHAIN will collect sensitive personal data / Information that the user will provide to us, such as photo, gender, mailing address, phone number, email address, credit card number, pan number, tan number, income tax returns, bank account number, passport details, driving license details, personal statements, reasons for seeking finance, income sources and financial information. By filling in the User Account form with their data, the user authorizes the FINCHAIN app/FINCHAIN website to capture these details. FINCHAIN will limit usage of this information to qualify and enable users of the FINCHAIN app/FINCHAIN website to apply for loans via the FINCHAIN platform.

Contact Information: The FINCHAIN app requests certain permissions from users that allow it to access the user’s Contact Information as summarized here. Where the FINCHAIN app is obtained from sources such as Google Play, you may share the names and numbers contained in your device’s address book (“Contact Information”) with FINCHAIN. If you provide us with personal information about someone else, you confirm that they are aware that you have provided their data and that they consent to our processing of their data according to our Privacy Policy. FINCHAIN will only use permitted Contact Information to make our services more relevant to you and your engagement with the FINCHAIN community.

Please note that no other Contact Information other than the phone numbers and there to attached names will be read from the user’s address book. Other numbers or information that may be contained in your device’s phone book will be filtered away and will therefore not be stored or used by FINCHAIN. Please also note that you can always choose not to share Contact Information with FINCHAIN and if you have shared information and changed your mind, you can easily delist your number or opt-out to render your entire Contact Information unavailable for reading by FINCHAIN.

Non-Personal Information:The FINCHAIN website will also collect non-personal information from you, such as your browser type, the URL of the previous website you visited, your ISP, operating system, and your Internet protocol (IP) Address (“Non-Personal Information”). Non-Personal Information cannot be easily used to personally identify you. FINCHAIN will limit usage of this information to improving user’s engagement with FINCHAIN and FINCHAIN services.

HOW AND WHEN DOES FINCHAIN COLLECT THIS INFORMATION?

Providing Information to Us: We collect Sensitive /Personal Data / Information from you when you provide it to us. For example, if you purchase a product or services, or make an application for seeking a grant of loan from a borrower, we may collect your name, mailing address, telephone number, credit card number, pan number, tan number, income tax returns, bank account number, passport details, driving license details, personal statements, reasons for seeking finance, income sources and email address. If you create a either a Lender Account or a Borrower Account, we may collect your name, tax identification number, mailing address, email address, credit card number, pan number, tan number, income tax returns, bank account number, passport details, driving license details, personal statements, reasons for seeking finance, income sources and other information that we request during the registration process, and any information that you provide on your FINCHAIN. If you sign up to receive a newsletter, we will collect your email address.

Communications With Us:  If you communicate with us regarding the Website or the FINCHAIN Services, we will collect any information that you provide to us in any such communication.

Analytic and Reporting Technologies: Like the operators of most websites, we use analytic and reporting technologies to record Non-Personal Information such as Internet domain and host names, Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser software, operating system types, clickstream patterns, and the dates and times that the Website and the FINCHAIN Services are accessed. HOW DOES FINCHAIN USE MY INFORMATION?

WHEN WILL FINCHAIN DISCLOSE MY INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES?

Disclosure to Credit Rating Agencies & Reserve Bank of India:To make an improvement in its business FINCHAIN may share the personal information of a user with a Credit Rating Agencies and the information shall be shared with Credit Rating Agencies in the event, Reserve Bank of India issues guidelines or direction in this regard.

Tell-A-Friend If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about the Website or the FINCHAIN Services, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Website. We store this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program.
